Got here after another couple of outback nights, they do have a backpackers and hotel rooms, but the cheapest option was to camp, guess what we did?
Slightly out of the centre, AU$18 for a campsite and a campervan, good showers and did some clothes wasking, but saw signs up saying be sure to remove your clothes at the end of the day (from the lines), well we went to the pub and forgot all that that.
The resort has a pub attached and there was a live band on so we went to see them and it was the funniest thing I'd seen in a long time, fantastic. They playes bluesy/country music, some their own, some covers but inbetween they compared and has us in stiches, we ended up drinking with them after the show. The worst thing is I didn't get their names.
Anyway, woke up after a very cold nights sleep (this was the end of May), and my travelling buddy told me to go and have a look at the washing line. Hmm, it was horrible the birds had used the area as a toilet, hat's why we were warned to remove out clothes. So we had to put them through the wash again and pay for driers.

They also have nightly visits to see and feed the Rock Wallibies at the foot of the hills in the resort.
