If you check back to my Intro page for Croatia, you'll see the Hotel Meteor in the bottom left corner of the picture.
The picture here was taken from my single room. The single rooms are quite small (by North American standards), but they are clean and each has its own bathroom. And besides,...you're not going to want to spend the whole day in your hotel room anyway, right ?
The hotel has 280 rooms, and is a short walk to the town center.
There is a beach just beyond the trees, but the water in the hotel's outdoor pool is considerably warmer.
Note: not all women go topless poolside or at the beach, but you shouldn't be surprised to see that some do.
Each room has air conditioning, a satelite TV, and a mini bar.
The hotel has a restaurant, snack bar, a bar, hair dresser, currency exchange office, souvenir shop, parking lot, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and tennis courts.
A variety of water sports is available, incl. sailing, rowing, water-polo, windsurfing, waterskiing, scuba diving, a fitness center,
and volleyball on the beach
