    Standard rooms overlooking the Inner Harbor, some with obstructed views. Nice park and walkway between harbor and hotel. Good location, very close to Victoria's main attractions but away from the crowds.

    Besides being a great hotel with an incredible view, we were delighted when we got there and found that we had been upgraded to an executive one-bedroom suite for no reason!

    We loved the view from our balcony of the harbor. We watched seaplanes land and take off, ferries arrive and leave, beautiful sunsets. We liked it so much we spent most meals eating room service on the balcony!

  • A few years ago in January, we booked a weekend at the Laurel Point Inn in Victoria, BC. We stayed in a studio suite in the newer wing of the hotel. It was a Japanese style room that overlooked the Japanese garden. We opted for the Breakfast Is Served package.

    Although, the hotel may seem outdated compared to some of the major chains, and the service was not 5-star all the time, I did enjoy the quietness and comfortness. We basically had the new wing to ourselves, so it was quiet and private.

    The location was just out of the harbour and we enjoyed walking along the waterfront to the downtown harbour area daily to visit attractions.
