  • I stayed in Royal Hawaiian Hotel 2 nights January 27 and 28th, 2006. I stayed in the tower
    ocean front 17th floor, room No.1702. The room is now renovated. I recommend this hotel. The room is of ocean front and high floor. The building does not have the rooms of
    mountain or city view. And so the building is constructed for ocean front stay and so
    very deluxe, I think.

    The hotel has beautiful and deluxe garden. Although staying in the city, you can feel staying the rich and well maintained garden house of king.

    Sometimes it is good to feel the exclusivity for the rich.

  • We were delighted to be greeted with orchid lei, and to find our room with a basket filled with pineapple, mango, apples, oranges and a warm bananna loaf. Everything in this hotel is pink. Pink towels, pink sheets, pink wallpaper, and pink bathrooms not to mention the pink painted walls that covered the walls. I actually thought of buying some underwear, pink undies, pink bra etc...just to fit in !!

    It was funny as ventured across road to find bar and walked into a irish pub which had green coasters, green chairs, green everything. Started to think I was travelling under a colour decore.

    Hotel is fabulous....rooms terrific...staff lovely...beach wonderful at your doorstep...breakfast terrace wonderful....Its expensive but worth the experience.

    Its a must if staying in Hawaii.

    When planning a special trip to the Hawaiian islands it seemed inevitable that arriving in Honolulu we should spend a couple of nights at Waikiki beach. Now luxury Hotels are so not me, but every now and then I can take a bit of spoiling. The main requirements for me are location and character and the Royal Hawaiian has both in spades.

    Right on the beach the Hotel is gloriously pink from the smallest details in the bedrooms to the wonderfully OTT exterior.

    Setting right on the beach and its very own Mai Tai cocktail from the beach side bar.
