All Mt. Baker Lodging vacation properties are privately owned, fully equipped, and individually unique. Accommodations range from cozy cottages and condos for 2-persons, to larger family cabins, and group chalets...and you can be a close or as far away from the action as you desire. So, after a long day of skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, or golf...just put your feet up and relax by the fire, or soak your weary bones in one of their many hot tub equipped homes...and call it a Mount Baker Day!!

    motels near Mt. Baker: Not the most accomodating area
    Baker is relatively close to Bellingham and if you are not from the area, I strongly recommend staying there... bellingham is a good sized city with every type of hotel, motel, B&B, and Inn you could want... the longest it has taken me to get to the ski area from the city is 75 minutes but that was because i was stuck behind a person who didnt know how to drive in the snow.. usually it is under an hour to get there, and the scenery along the way makes the trip go by even quicker.. however if you dont mind spending over $100/night on less than luxury motels, there are a dozen or so tiny motels scattered around the tiny town of Glacier which is just over 20 minutes from Baker...

    reservations are rarely needed since Baker is hardly ever packed with people but you should make them just in case...
