It's about location, not luxury or comfort. Affordable, more of a "motor inn" right on 5th avenue under / next to the monorail. Good downtown Belltown location, it's most affordable, around ~ $60/night online, cheap for Seattle downtown, but be prepared for noise, partying, and it gets some funky reviews. If cheap sleepin' and late partying are your priorities, you can save some bucks here.
I've never stayed here, just walked past it during both day and nightime and it didn't look too crazy or noisy to me, but you never know. Seattle hotels are incredibly expensive, so I'm posting this because it is cheap, but read the reviews on frommers, expedia, etc so you know what to expect.
