It's a beautiful little hotel located right in front of the beach. It has restaurant, a pool, the beach of course, a tennis court, and a lot of nice stuff. The service is very good. Every room has air conditioned, accommodation for six, kitchen, a bathroom, and a great view
5 kms west of Carupano, in Playa Copey: Posada Nena is across the street from beachfront, neat clean place and good backpacker crowd, and Posada Escollera great looking, few meters west of Posada Nenna, on the beachfront, maybe more upscale although it seems thy have the same owner, less happening though: www.copey.info; http://www.venezuela-vacaciones.com/carupano.html
Clean and nice, no frills. Efficiently run by Volker, a German dude, very helpful in helping you to get around. I'd say it's the only place you can see foreigners in the whole region.
