 | Sharm El Sheikh Restaurants | Tips 1 - 10 of 134 | | Popular Restaurants | Other Restaurants Tips | All Tips (134) As you walk through the promenade along the beach all the hotels have menu's outside so you can eat at any of them as alot of hotel restaurants in Sharm are all welcome to the public. Our first night in Sharm we went to the Italian at the Movenpick Resort and Casino Hotel. The restaurant overlooks the pool and the centre of Naama Bay and has a nice warm atmosphere. The menu is varied with lots to choose from, Steaks, Pasta, Salad, Pizza, Spaghetti and a big selection of desserts and all at a good price. The restaurant was very clean and the tables were set really nice with candles which was really cosy and quite romantic. If you want an excellent clean restaurant with good standards of food then do come here, you wont be dissapointed. It is open from 7.00pm to 1.00am every night of the week.
We had Pizza and spaghetti bolognese, then ice cream for dessert. We also had some beers with our meal. The meal was good value for money and not as expensive as we thought it would be for hotel food.

The food at this restaurant was unbelievable, it was so tasty & although i was full i couldnt stop eating because it tasted so good. There were 4 of us having a meal together & between us we ordered 8 different dishes & shared them all so we could all try the different foods. The restaurant is on the second floor & is open top roof, you can see people in the streets from the top & enjoy the views. The staff are very friendly & speak English very well too. For the 4 of us the cost was so cheap it was only 300 Egyptian Pounds for everything, which included our 8 dishes, rice for us all, drinks (alcholic too) & also ice cream for afters. Id recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Chinese.

Hard Rock Cafe was a great night out, we thought we'd try it as ive only ever been to the Hard Rock Cafe in Paris. There are men on the door who let you through, very friendly & they welcome you into the cafe. We had to wait for a table as it was really busy, but the atmosphere was great, lots of people having fun & chatting, a waiter would welcome you over to the bar area whilst you waited for a table & then they would call your name out when a table is free. The surroundings in the Hard Rock Cafe were great, lots of nice photos all around & music playing, even the waiters got up for a dance to some of the songs which was good.
There is lots of American style food to choose from, burgers, pizzas, fries etc.. I had a chicken burger with fries & the portions are really large! I couldnt even eat it all. http://www.hardrock.com/locations/cafes/Menu.aspx?lc=SHAR see the website above for full menu. The prices are good too, you paid around $5.00 for a meal. You could buy alcohol here, they had beers, wines, cocktails you name it.... you could buy huge cocktails for $10 & you got to keep the Hard Rock Cafe glass as a sovenir. In Naama Bay, there are 2 Kanabesh restaurants. I think they are under the same management. One is along the main stretch of King of Bahrain St and has a streetside setting. The other, which we visited, is on the beach. The tables and chairs are laid out on the sand on top of huge rugs so you aren't getting your feet sandy. The cooking station is also on the beach, and everything is cooked fresh to order. A network of lanterns, multicoloured glass roofs and woodwork covers the restaurant, making it a wonderful setting for dinner, with a candlelit atmosphere. We liked this restaurant so much we visited it 3 times. If you arrive after 8.30pm, you may have to have a table a set up at the edge of the restaurant area. No big deal, but we preferred being more in the centre of everything. The food is international, and really good value. For starters there are various soups, salads and mezze available, starting from £1. For main course, there is a mix of steak dishes (£5-£7) chicken dishes (£4-6), pizzas (from £1.60 and which are on a seperate menu which you have to ask for), some vegetarian dishes: vegetable curry £2.50, vegetable gratin £2.50 and a wide range of seafood from £3-£7 which was very popular and many people were ordering. It's nice to be able to see your food being cooked to order, and you are sure to be warmly walcomed by the lovely owner/manager "Woggy". He is most proud of his restaurant, and treats everyone with the utmost respect - the same way which we treated him. We chatted about Cairo where he is from, and his love of Sharm El Sheikh.
Despite liking spicy foods, we really loved the Pizza served here. For £1.60 you'd get a magharita pizza (or any other pizza from their menu, upto about £2.50) which was approximately 12" in diameter. As far as pizzas go, it was delicious. Thats not to say there is anything wrong with the other dishes we had. The steak portions were generous and cooked exactly how we asked. They came served with either rice or chips. There was a large drinks menu, and we would normally have a bottle of Obelisk red wine at a cost of around £8. The total bill including taxes would be anything from £15 - £25 for the 2 of us. Approximately 22% in taxes is added to your bill. There is a good dessert selection too, and Woggy was kind enough to make the creamy Movenpick vanilla ice cream and cappuchino we had ordered complimentary. So, although there are various restaurants along the beach, and I'm sure most of them are very good, we very highly recommend Kanabesh. There are loads of Bedouin style bars and restaurants lining the pedestrian zone in Naama Bay - but I think this one is best :) The food is lovely, the staff are quick and friendly, the price is very reasonable and you could easily fall asleep on those massive cushions. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Choose all starters! We had three starters between us and then chose a main each. We were stuffed after the starters. Bread is complementary and we made the mistake of asking for more - they brought us a bakery.... and we couldn't finish all our bread they insisted on giving us a carrier bag to take it all home! At the end of a short afternoon coach tour of the highlights of Sharm el Sheikh, our tour guide brought us to this wonderful spot. The restaurant and bar is open air, and is perched on a clifftop overlooking the sea. The landscaping is perfectly coordinated to set off the dusk, sunset, and evening perfection of Red Sea weather. The restaurant and bar covers a large area of open space, and is furnished with wooden chairs, swings, plantpots, straw unbrellas, all hung with fairy lights which twinkle on at the hint of sunset and create a magical wonderland as it gets dark. I just had a drink, but I am told that the food is excellent and mainly Italian fare. It's a perfect place to go with the love of your life - it would be hard to find anything so romantic. Walk hand in hand along the cliff path through this venu and watch the sky turn from blue to pink to grey to black. The stars will be twinkling in the sky, in the fairy lights, and in your eyes. The photos which I'll post here do not really do it justice. If you want to try a lot of different types of mezze (Egyptian appetitzers) this is a great place to do so! Order a bit of everything and dig in! It is so tasty and great fun too! It will even stop you from ordering a maincourse as you are full and the bill will be so small that you want to do it again and again! To complete your meal you should order some of their fresh juices or fruitcocktails. It is absolutly the best in all of Sharm ( and believe me I tried them all!)

If you are looking for great seafood you have to go to this small restaurant in Old Sharm. Everything on the menu sounds so wonderfuld and everything we had was fresh and delicious! Remember that in Naama Bay there is a restaurant that goes by the same name. It is the same who owns it but the one in Old Sharm is the original and have a more rustic atmosphere than the new and more modern one.

We found this hotel after we had been in Sharm for about a 5 days, and ate there for the rest of our holiday!!!! What attracted us was the fact that it was always busy, so it must have been good!!!! The food was delicious & the service great.
Personally I enjoyed the Seafood pancakes for starters and the surf & turf for main - a large fillet steak served with either large prawns, or lobster. You couldn't fault the food here, we tried steak, lobster, fish - all the food was the best we tried in Sharm & wonderfully presented. The food in this restaurant is absolutly wonderful. Everything is perfect! Even though the price is a bit higher than other restaurants in Sharm it should not be missed! My boyfriend a I eat there. We both got a maincouse, a dessert, a glass of wine and shared a big bottle of water and we only payed about 300 egyptian pounds. It was such a great evening. Just go and have a grat time!
