These beautiful animals are trained by Russians and you can watch them dance and perform acrobatics to the music and even get to see them draw! Fantastic. There are 3 gorgeous dolphins from the Black Sea.
The show is daily and starts at 3.00pm which lasts around 1 hour. You get picked up from your hotel at around 2.00pm. Prices are £26 per adult and £13 per child.

Moses Mountain again is a very popular attraction in Sharm. It is not for the faint hearted though as it is a long day. I know someone who did this tour and although they said it was fantastic, they said it was very tiring and also worth it for the amazing view.
It lasts around 3-4 hours where you will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and taken to see St Catherine's Monastery to watch the sun rise then you spend a 3 hour climb up to Moses Mountain and enjoy the amazing views. Prices do vary from £65 per adult and £25 per child.

Why not try something different and take a fantastic boat ride to the beautiful National Park of Ras Mohammed.
You can enjoy some fabulous snorkelling and enjoy looking at the stunning sea life and coral of the Red Sea. Then you can relax and go to the Ras Mohammed National Park. The price includes a full day out from 8.00am to around 5.30p and soft drinks, lunch and entrance fees to the park are all included.

Ras Mohamed national park is only a 40-minute drive or so away from Sharm el Sheikh, and a huge number of tour operators in Sharm arrange car / minibus trips to the national park - the price varies a bit, but is usually between 100 - 150 LE, including entrance fees to the park. Water and soft drinks are provided.
We were picked up at our hotel by a minibus at 8.30, we were about 15 passengers (according to the tour operator we used on this day trip, Fayed Travel (just across the road from McDonald's in Naama bay) the maximum number of passengers they'll take on this trip is 12.) There were four (!) guides - speaking Italian, Russian and English.
Our first stop in Ras Mohamed was at the Main Beach, where we were snorkelling for 45 minutes. The snorkelling was quite good, but nothing too spectacular, and there were many other tour groups in the area at the same time. We were then taken to the mangrove channel for a short look at the mangroves, to the nearby earthquake fissures and to the beautiful, bright turquoise "Magic Lake". Next we went to another snorkelling spot, where we only snorkelled for half an hour - snorkelling here was *a lot* better than at the first spot, and I would've liked to snorkel here for much longer... :o)
We were back in Naama Bay at 14.30.
Remember to bring your passport along, as you will have to show it (and your visa) at a checkpoint on the way to Ras Mohamed.

Naama Bay is the main resort area of Sharm El Sheikh, and the centre for shopping, dining, drinking and entertainment - here you'll find a huge number of souvenir shops and bazaars, restaurants, cafés, bars, dive shops, tour operators, casinos, internet cafés - oh, and hotels, of course... ;o) Naama Bay is most definitely *very* touristy, you'll find basically everything a tourist needs - and more...:o) Know that the prices here are pretty high, you can get your desired souvenirs quite a bit cheaper elsewhere - there is such a huge number of tourists around in Naama Bay, and that makes the souvenir prices here among the highest in Egypt... :o)
There are several pedestrian streets in Naama Bay - all pretty much deserted during the day, but very lively at night - this is the place to be if you want to lounge about on cushions while smoking shisha - or perhaps enjoy somewhat expensive cocktails in Hard Rock Café... Leave a Comment

A huge number of tour operators in Naama Bay offer day trips to Ras Mohamed by boat - the cost varies a bit, but is usually somewhere near 175 LE / 25 euro - snorkelling gear was not included. We went with Orbit Tours, their office is next to Naama Bay Hotel in Naama Bay. (Panorama, Office 1a)
We were picked up at 8.30 and taken by minibus to Travco marina a short drive from Sharm - a huge number of quite large boats to Tiran, Ras Mohamed etc depart from there. We were almost 40 people on our yacht (and 40 was the maximum number of passengers they'd take) but it didn't seem crowded at all on board - some of the other yachts did look pretty crowded though, so remember to ask about the maximum number of passengers before booking your trip. The trip out to the first snorkelling / diving spot took about 1 1/2 hours, and there were quite a bit of waves, so if you're very prone to seasickness you might have a small problem... :o)
We were taken to three snorkelling spots - the first two were in Ras Mohamed national park, and the last one near Naama Bay (at Ras Katy) - snorkelling for almost an hour in each spot. The snorkelling was pretty good, the only problem is that several boats moor together, and there are *a lot* of people in the water. There can be quite a bit of waves and also pretty strong currents in Ras Mohamed, so if you're not a confident swimmer a day trip by car (snorkelling from the shore) might be a better idea - the snorkelling done from land is often "easier", and it was actually almost as good.
Lunch and soft drinks were included in the price, and a pretty good buffet lunch was served on board the boat - various salads, rice, fried fish and meat, potatoes, vegetables... Even the vegetarians (that would be me;o) were well fed.

Have a look around here, you can get a taxi here easily for very about 10 LE. Its nothing like Naama Bay so be warned , but its definately worth a go.Its where all the workers lie and a more "traditional "side of Egypt. There are lots and lots of bazaars and restaurants here, and some great street vendors selling filafel mmmm. The Bedouin Feast is well worth the £30 per person. It starts just after sunset & you get driven into the desert where the Bedouin men & women cook a traditional Egyptian feast, with lots to choose from including meat, fish, rice, pasta, salad & a nice stew which i took a liking to. You also get a dessert & some herbal homemade tea.
You sit in a Bedouin tent & they tell you about the life in the desert & about there family & friends, camels & horses & other traditional Egyptian things.
They also offer Shisha to everyone & you can enjoy a nice hot drink too. Then a man takes you out into the dark desert to take a look at the constalation of Orions belt & tells you all about the moon & stars & shows you the different shapes. Then you take it in turns to look through a telescope to show you the different planets. Its really amazing & i recommend this to anyone. There are many tours being sold all over the place including trips to Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor to see pyramids and museums but we wanted a relaxing holiday so did not take up these opportunities. I would however strongly recommend taking a day trip to Ras Mohammed National Park by boat. You are taken to 3 dive spots, 2 in the National Park and one outside it. The snorlkelling is excellent as is the instruction and food and refreshment provided on board. We were taken through Naama bay into the mountains and given two double quads, its advisable to wear full clothing and face masks as its SOOO dusty biking through the sand! its a bit strange at first but quite a thrill! you stop in a bedouin tent for some tea also. We were taken to echo mountain where the kids wre encouraged to shout at the top of their lungs to hear the echoes! it was cool!
