The Basotho people (the country is Lesotho, the language is Sesotho.) and they are some of the most friendly people that I have ever met (though there were some volunteers who definitely didn't hold the Basotho people is such high esteem, for numerous reasons.), and to 'get in good' with them all you have to do is to try to learn their language.
To get into either Boccacio's or Alberge (another nightspot, whose name I am positive I am misspelling.)you just had to dress neatly; there was no dress code to speak of (and if you know anything about most Peace Corps volunteers, its that fashion was never one of our strong suits.)
