 | Moshi Restaurants | Tips 1 - 8 of 8 | | Popular Restaurants | Other Restaurants Tips | All Tips (8) Excellent friendly service and wonderful food. The chili dishes do come very hot though, so beware! We asked for our chili beef to be medium hot and it came too hot to handle! We sat on the outside terrace and enjoyed the al fresco ambience.
The chicken with lemongrass was excellent, but the favourite was sizzling beef in blackbean sauce. Leave a Comment Theme: Chinese/Dim SumPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than averageAddress: Off Lema Road, Shanty Town, Moshi

This restaurant does everything from delicious cakes and coffee, to soda floats and fruit juices, pasta dishes, pizza, burgers and toasted sandwiches. All freshly made and delicious. The garden outside is an oasis among mango trees with shady tables and a couple of large corner seats with cushions for larger groups to meet and hang out. Really nice, friendly atmosphere.
I had the meat pizza, which was rich, filling and delicious, a mango juice and a coke float (which I hadn't had since I was a kid!) Leave a Comment

The food here took a while to come...no hurry, it's Africa! But once it arrived, it was well worth the wait! We sat at tables outside and chatted into the night the day before we climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
Anything from the barbeque is good, the corn is great and the more aromatic dishes were great. They also do great chips masala for you die hard lovers of adoptive English cuisine! The Coffee Shop serves as a centralized meeting spot for any expat or foreign visitor in Moshi Town to meet other expats or foreign visitors. They sell a variety of Tanzanian coffees, delicious American and European style sandwiches, pasta dishes, cappuccino, ice cream sundaes, and a variety of fresh baked goods. You can even place an order for yummy cakes for special occasions. The Coffee Shop was a wonderful find for us volunteers who craved some of the "comfort food" of home.
The cappuccino and biscuits made for a wonderful afternoon break after working all morning. The lovely outdoor patio was a great place to meet local and overseas visitors, and gather info on what's going on around town. Location: Moshi Kilimanjaro, Tanzania Outreach of St. Margaret’s Anglican Church in Moshi. Quiet and pleasant atmosphere that really has a café feel which is very unusual in East Africa. “Aim is to train local staff, serve the community by providing a pleasant meeting place and to promote Tanzanian coffees. Surpluses are directed into the work of both the needy causes and the local church.” Mains $2.00-$4.00US Leave a Comment Theme: CoffeehousePrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterDirections: Right near the main bus station on Hill Street.
