There are many antique stores on West Street. There you will find all kinds of really old antiques and at all these shops you can bargain. I am sure some things are fake so be carefull but there many things that are worth buying if you are into that....

If you are looking for pipes then Yanghuo has many of them, you can also buy really old pipes and with cool designs on them. They have both big and small ones, I paid 5rmb for the small one and the big one i wanted was 80rmb after 20 minutes of bargaining.
You can find the pipes in some of the shops on west street and around and aswell on the sidewalks you will see people with them on a blanket or something.

A delightful, small shop in the main street of Yangshou. Airconditioned and very attentative personel. Great number of chopsticks, beautifully displayed. No bargaining!

Not sure what type of handicraft is this, traditional or modern one. I saw it in almost everywhere of Yangshuo. The motifs are weird and colourful like carrying some implied messages. They are made of wood and can be hung on wall.
I believe it's a native artwork by the Zhuang minority people. Leave a Comment Theme: Art
