While sitting by the local bar/ resturaunt/ cyclone shelter, I got to watch the kids playing a unique version of 'chasey'. The kid that is 'it' chases the others around with one of the island's numerous large crabs. There's no denying when you've been caught, as you'll have a huge crab dangling off you by it's huge pincer.
If the kids invite you to join in, I suggest you don't else you'll probably find yourself unexpectedly adorned with unhappy crabs that wont hesitate to let you know how they feel!
On an eco point, these crabs also make great drink can collectors. The kids grab them from behind and then use the crabs natural pincing tendency to grab cans and plastic bottles. The kids then get the crab to release it's hold by tickling it on it's underside, dropping the can into the bin. Innovative to say the least!
Sorry, I don't have any photos on this tip as I was there before I got my first camera.
