I am squezzing this restaurant in Tsukuba but actually is located in Tsuchiura, a city that has not been added to the data-base. The menu desplay great variety and the Pasta or Pizza set running for 1200 yen the former and 1500 the later are a great bargain: Soup, antipasto, pasta(or pizza), desert and drink. I asked for a cheap table wine and the bill for 5 was less than 8000 yen: US$70, 55 euros, ot ALL turkish liras..(-;
Try the putanesca. A la rabiata also looked nice. The grapes gellato was also yummi. Good expresso. Ask them to bring it after the meal if you want to drink it hot. If you don't want to drink it hot...jump from your window right now. You will enjoy the great Italian dishes in a casual cafe Atomosphere. It dosen't look like an Italian restaurant at all if they don't show the Italian flag sign outside. It's a good place to have lunch. The dinner set is reasonably priced too. If you are planning to go there in a large group, you may want to make a reservation.
Order chef's recommendation of the day. They sometimes have unique fish which you can't buy at stores and cook yourself. Leave a Comment Theme: ItalianPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageDirections: Tsukuho Area

Unagi is a symbol in the Japanese Cuisine. I can not tell what kind of symbol it is because there are kids(need to grow kids!) reading and rating these pages. Unagi is the Japanese for eel (kids: it is not ill, but eel). And I am not going to explain to much about eel because illness is around... The character "U" of the Hiragana syllabary is used to represent the eel. So where and when you see an U , do not turn in U , enter and get some eel....and later enjoy.
Kabayaki is may favorite because I am on a diet without rice. It is not more than grilled eel; with beers or good sake it combines well (with the diet!!!). If rice is required, ask for Unajuu. A laquered box (in all days) containing a generous portion of white rice with the grilled Unagi on the top.
