 | Yokohama Nightlife | Tips 1 - 10 of 10 | | Popular Nightlife | Other Nightlife Tips | All Tips (10) I'm not a nightlife person myself and if I go out, its always with my hubby. WE went out sometimes and when we're out, we checked out directly the Gaspanic Bar. They have yummy burger and a large glass of beers! Lots of people and too crowded for me!
Wear jeans and dress properly since Japanese people are smart enough to go out! Leave a Comment Theme: Live MusicAddress: Sakuragicho Stn.Directions: Around Jack Mall area in Sakuragicho Stn.

There are not many choices to go out in Yokohama during the night. I think Japanese people prefers to go out to have dinner or go to the cinema than partying all night. Thatīs why in some places closing late most of the customers are western. One of the few places is Gas Panic. Maybe the ambience is quite western... The best day to go: On thursday night, more people and happy hour all night.

If you ask to the inhabitants of Yokohama where to go out there most of them will answer you: Roppongi (in Tokyo)... too far away... I remember other places in Yokohama: -"Why not?" in Motomachi (too many marines). -Around Yokohama station is possible to find other cool bars (in some of them if you are not native you will not be allowed to enter)

A 1 min. walk from Sakuragicho Station , there you can see a very nice place to stroll over with its beautiful night lights. The picture is the Night view of Yokohama It's nice when you go there in the evening because of its beautiful lights and the scenery itself. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

< Yamashita Park and Hikawa-maru (passenger ship) > The most famous park in Yokohama (opened in 1930), streachs along the Bay side. There is 'a girl in red shoes' statue that is well-known as there is a children's song about her (Another good place for couples???). Hikawa-maru is a moored passenger ship alongside Yamashita Park. You can enjoy a gallery, cruesing theater, restaurant and cafe with nice evening views of the bay and Yokohama area inside. It is lit up in the evening until 23:00. It is also decorated in Christimas season. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

MM21(Minato Mirai Niju-ichi) is part of large scale urban development project for 21st century. The Land Mark Tower (Japan's tallest buillding), Cosmo Clock (the World's third biggest Ferris wheel), Grand Inter Continental Hotel (half circular shaped) are the main features of the MM21 development and, for me, typify modern Japan and accentuates the beautiful Yokohama skyline. Minato Mirai 21 is the modern and architecurally appealing waterfront district of Yokohama. Wander around here in the evening for some of the most stunning urban landscape viewing opportunities in Japan. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

When I came to this place I feel like home, we have T.G.I.F. in downtown Vancouver, the foods is Great......and also the Drinks......good for conservation, good listening English music background, especially this is only the place that I know they separate smokers and non-smokers and it is good for your health and your clothes is not stinky at all. . Very popular for tourist especially with Americans. . They open until 5:00 a.m. .

Don't let the name of this bar fool you for one second. If you want local and imported craft beers in Yokohama, this is THE bar to check out. From hefe's, IPAs, and imperial souts distributed exclusively in Yokohama, to Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout this bar has it all. The owner, Kudosan, taught himself English and does very well with the language. He is the authority on the local craft beers and would talk craft beer all night if given the chance. The patrons just add to the overall experience as you will rarely find any foreigners in this hole in the wall place; only craft beer loving locals. Very "homey" atmosphere although a little pricey. Expect to pay around 800-1000 yen per pint, but the experience is worth it.
