Experiencing train ride really thrilled me not only in around Yokohama but in Japan as a whole. I had the chance to ride subway, ordinary trains and trains without driver (Seaside Line). It was just unfortunate that I never had the experience of riding Shinkansen (Japanese Bullet Train). Theme: Train

This is the station if JR Lines if you are going to Minato Mirai. Upon going down from the station, one can already see the Landmark Tower, Queen's Tower and Pacifico. There is also a Tourist Center wherein maps and guides around Minato Mirai can be taken (for free). Bus stop is also located just outside the station if you are still going to other areas around Yokohama. Theme: Train

The one aspect that all foreigners praise after a visit to Japan is the excellence of its public transport. Buses and trains and taxis can whisk you promptly and safely all over the Kanto - i.e. Tokyo and Yokohama - area. It's a bit daunting at first, but with a good map and plenty of bowing and smiling you can usually end up where you want to be. Theme: Other

From Tokyo, take the Yokosuka line train to Kamakura. The journey takes about an hour & cost about 1000 Yen. NEW TOKYO INTERNATIONAL NARITA AIRPORT: Click Here JAPAN SHINKANSEN MAP: Click Here TABLE OF FARES ON SHINKANSEN FROM TOKYO STATION: Click Here I took the train on my own. It was easy to get here but not as easy to get around unless one speak Japanese. Try to follow the crowd, that's one way to get to tourist attraction :) Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Always by train, you can get there from Shinjuku or Shibuya station. It's cheaper from Shibuya even if you are staying near Shinjuku. Take the Tokyu Toyoko line, 260 yen, just 30 minutes. The best area is maybe Sakuragi-cho Station area. The best way, walking and taking the maritime bus, from the station to Yamashita Park(around 400 yen). Leave a Comment Theme: Train
