Murrumbidgee River
  • Tip Rating:
  • The Murrumbidgee River derived its name from the aboriginal language and means "plenty water" or "big water".
The Bidgee flows for more than 1500 kms through NSW , until it reaches the mighty Murray River.
In some places there are long stretches of white water that canoe enthusiasts love, and in other places the river is wide and sandy, and great for swimming.
There are some good fishing holes in the "Bidgee" too, with Yellow -belly, Cod, Native Perch, and Trout.

    On the way to Dubbo
  • Tip Rating:
  • Travelling from South to North, I passed through some of this countries finest towns and cities.
Wagga Wagga is just one of many, and I took this route just so I could see this city.
Unfortunately, this city deserves a longer stay than I was able to give. A truely lovely place, with lots friendly people.

    Fields of Color
  • Tip Rating:
  • This trip I was spoilt with lots of colorful fields in full bloom.
Canola was growing everywhere in NSW. especially the Dubbo region, and such a pretty sight it was.
