    I do not know much about these, but they are located in a park next to the Nimbin Regional Gallery. I would think they are local works.

    One of the biggest events of the year, not only do the residents "go high" the dogs jump high. Bring your dog and enjoy him going high.

    The boom years of the Hippy Cultivation of Nimbin was during the 1970's when communes were estabilished along the hills and valley enclosed by the subtropical rainforrest. Life was a buzz for the alternative people and there was plenty of "dope" for all. Many hippies remain in the district and I am certain the principals of the alternative lifestyle are still practiced today.

    The town buildings are decorated by local artists, most following a theme from the past whether it be the recent " Hippy Communes" or the thousands of years old culture and traditions of the local Aboriginals, the traditional land owners.
