 | Watsons Bay Restaurants | Tips 1 - 6 of 6 | | Popular Restaurants | Other Restaurants Tips | All Tips (6) This is THE thing to do on a weekend afternoon in Watson's Bay. I have only been to the self service side of things but it is the only way I'd want it.
My favorite food here is easily the Salt & Pepper Squid. So good. And you can get it in the combo with the fish and chips. Although you get much more with the S&P Squid order also with chips. A couple bottles of wine. Several hours great conversation. Friends you havent seen in almost a year. Yeah. This is perfect. A family owned restaurant, Doyle's on the beach is the original site for Australia's first seafood restaurant founded in 1885. The location is ideal, right on the beach overlooking the incredible view of Sydney Harbour. It has a laid back feeling with a large range of fresh seafood, and their prices are excellent. They are open 7 day a week for lunch and dinner. Leave a Comment

We were waiting for a ferry and Chris has a craving for some yummy Salt & pepper Squid. He got his squid with some chips and a beer. Needless to say this made him a very happy boy. I had some of his squid and it was excellent. Just the right amount of seasoning.

The first time we were here was for some drinks. We had taken the bus from Bondi and were waiting for the ferry. The second time we were here we had lunch with Helen and Dennis. Helen & I both had the Garlic prawns with rice which was excellent. Chris & dennis both had the salmon, from their reports it was just as good as my meal. We had some beer which was very refreshing and got me a little drunk (Oh Well). Poor Helen was getting over an illness and couldn't drink any alcohol and was stuck with orange juice; what a trooper!
Garlic Prawns & beer!!!!
