Corio - Playgrounds, Parks & Recreation Reserves When I talk about Corio and Norlane I also mean the Northern Suburbs of Geelong - this area has the following suburbs in it: Corio Norlane North Geelong Drumcondra Bell Park Bell Post Hill Lovely Banks Today's tip is about places to play - sometimes when you are travelling a huge distance, you might like to sit down for a while, put your feet up, relax and let your children out for a play. Most suburbs in Geelong have parks, reserves, recreational reserves and playgrounds. You will find most of these places also have picnic areas, sometimes barbecues, toilet facilities and usually a playground of some description. Most playgrounds are fenced off from main roads (but you still need to be vigilant and watch toddlers and children at all times), and there are usually picnic tables, barbecues (free or coin operated) and toilet facilities. Notice that at the North Shore playground there are newly planted trees and recently laid paths. Address: Corio and the Northern Suburbs
