 | Porec Restaurants | Tips 1 - 10 of 18 | | Popular Restaurants | Other Restaurants Tips | All Tips (18) This is the best seafood restaurant in Poreč. They have all kind of fishes and of other seafood. They have mostly local customers that are not one-time visitors. If they come back, that has a meaning ! The lady manager is very friendly. The third photo shows special Istrian home made pastas. I must look for their name that I have written down but cannot find right now.

In the numerous alleys around Trg Marafor, half-hidden restaurants specializing in fish and grilled meats have opened for business...also ice-cream all over the place. Trg Marafor was originally the Roman forum, measuring precisely 45 by 45 meters. This was the exact size of an Insula (island), which is what the Romans called their apartment houses. The Roman pavement has survived in several places here. Leave a Comment Theme: LocalAddress: Porec

This is the best pizzeria in and around Porec. The pizzas are absolutely awesome, and it is also the pizza place that locals preffer over any other. It is right in the walking district of Porec and you can make a stop here for luch and dinner. Also, have a "mish-mash" to dring, they make them alright ....(wine+fanta) Leave a Comment

If you are right in Porec, you will come across many, many 'Slasticarna''s (coffee shops where you can choose from tons of ice-creams and local sweets. You have to have Ice Cream in Porec, especially if you are headed down Dekumanova Ul. (Main Street in Porec). As far as dinner goes, you will be much better off going outside of the city centre, preferably towards Vrsar. You will come across Funtana which is packed with sea food places, and Vrsar has about 20-30 open restaurants right on the riviera. This will give you a beautiful view of the area, as well as the sound and smell of the sea. The food is mostly local and seafood (also, pizza and pastas made in hundreds of different ways). You’ll be able to taste many different styles of cuisine, since Istra has picked up many good foods from Yugoslavia’s former republics. If you are into sweets.... you should not go home without having Tulumbe, Krempite, Sampite, Baklava... and make sure you try all of them so that next time you have a favourite one:) Leave a Comment Theme: OtherOther Contact: You will be able to find many su

This is where I used to go when I skipped classes in elementary school!! The dessert menu is great, although the quality is the same in most bars/ restaurants of this kind. The great thing with Bijeli San is the location! If you like people watching, this is perfect.... and it's close to everything.
Of course - KREMPITE! and the coffee is good here as well..... (oh yes! and the ice cream , - stracciatella ..mmmmm..hehe) Leave a Comment Theme: DessertPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: off of Dekumanova, behind Neptun Hotel area

Not really a restaurant but better a barwith a superb terrace in a very pleasant surrounding, on Trg Slobode, and with comfortable seats under the shade. You can have for example a pita/burek (second photo) Very friendly.
Besides the drinks, they have a great variety of ice-creams and a few hot food (burek). Leave a Comment Theme: Pub/BreweryAddress: Trg Slobode

In Summer, the tables set under the olive tree in the rear yard (first photo), enclosed by medium height walls that protect from the wind, are very pleasant. When the weather is cooler, the room inside is well arranged and friendly looking. The side entrance (second photo) may not be an entrance for customers as nothing is written to identify it, but only an entrance for staff. It opens in a wonderful little passage that leads from Decumanus to the quay. This carving shown on the third photo is found left to the side entrance of Ulixes restaurant and allows to peep into the restaurant. I expect this is not what it has been designed for ! I suppose that it actually wants to remind of a boat porthole.
Carpaccio with truffels. Tuna with truffels sauce. Any grilled fish or squid Leave a Comment Theme: LocalPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Dekumanus 2Phone: 451 132

We always recommened this place to our guests, because it has brillant food. In Porec lots of places are only open during the summer and serve only pizza for the tourists, but Dali is open all year long and lots of locals eat there as well. They serve local food as well as local, and I love their Cevapcici!
