During the time I was there, between Oct 19-28, 2003, the weather was cold, with periods of rain. The wind we also got made it feel colder, of course. It was somewhat uncomfortable walking around Hamburg because of the cold, and with so much to see, it´s a shame to have to cut your sightseeing time short just because of the weather. So, dress warmly. I´d suggest you bring a couple of sweaters, some gloves, and even a scarf and tuque. One person in my group wisely thought to bring her winter coat. You might even consider bringing a pair of long underwear. Everything's available in local shops or pharmacies. |
