A fairly large shopping centre in Westborough. Debenhams is the major occupier but there are other well known national chains here too. Handy for refreshments in the food court and toilets if you are in town shopping. Car drivers beware - the slope up from the street to the quite expensive car park is very, very steep. Make sure you have good clutch control! The view from the top is very good as you would expect. The park and ride bus stops at the back door of Debenhams and you can walk through Debenhams into the shopping centre.Website: http://www.brunswickshopping.com/

Stalls near the pier have tasty titbits of seafood - tiger prawns, crabs etc... that you can sample and see if you like.
£1-£2 pound for a small tray. Theme: Food and Drink

Pretty much the closest thing resembling a shopping mall in this neck of the woods... It's not exactly the Gateshead MetroCentre, or the King of Prussia mall (HUGE shopping mall in Pennsylvania, USA that's the 2nd largest one over there)....... but it's still a nice place to shop, and even though it's been at least 7yrs since I was there, I do recall it does have the obligatory glass fronted lift going between floors. Recognisable stores there currently listed on the centre's website include: Debenhams Argos Adams Kids Carphone Warehouse Clinton Cards Dorothy Perkins Evans Holland & Barrett JD Sports New Look O2 (mobilephone service provider) Ponden Mill TOG24 TOPMAN TOPSHOP It also contains a branch of WOODHEADS (local bakery firm) + a Tourist Information centre. Rooftop parking is available if you got round the back at the junction of Somerset Terrace / York Place.
Clothes & food mostly... or just window shop if you're a tight wad like me. What a great find in the middle of Scarborough - a genuine Italian bakery. Besides the usual take outs of pizza, focaccia etc. they do an interesting range of Italian cakes which I have never seen sold elsewhere in the UK. They also have an eat in restaurant elsewhere is Scarborough.
We like the mouse shaped pastry cases filled with a chocolate filling and with a small chocolate mouse on top. We haven't had the take away pizza (we save ourselves for Florio's), but others rave about it and the smell is great.
Cheap! Leave a Comment Theme: Food and DrinkAddress: 35 Huntriss Row, ScarboroughDirections: It's on the Town Centre, further down the same street that has McDonalds.

This is a real gem of a shop if you like books. Every book is between £1 and £4 but the majority are £2.00. The books are all new and unlike many discount book shops this one is well furnished and has good decor. Friendly helpful staff and with fast turn over , especially in the summer, a good changing selection of books. We found the complete Dads Army scripts that normally retails for £20 for just £2.
Anthing between £1 and £4. Leave a Comment Theme: BooksAddress: In the Brunswick CentreDirections: Just inside the main doors on the left.

Scarborough is quite a hub for shopping along the Yorkshire coast as it is the biggest town. This means you have the Market Halls in this picture and a whole pedestrian area with the Brunswick shopping mall and lots of High Street chains. All this apart from the souvenir shops in every other corner along the beach. The Market Halls have a ground floor part with butchers, vegetable grocers and cheap clothes, but also a cellar full of antiques. Leave a Comment Theme: Other
