The staff are great too, really friendly and helpful and always ready to serve you. The restaurant is very clean and modern and has a lovely atmosphere. Its quite busy at weekends so sometimes you may need to book in advance.
I enjoyed the spaghetti bolognese and i also like the steak kebab on a skewer. For a starter they do gorgeous garlic mushrooms with a nice breadroll and the garlic bread is delicious too. Frankie & Benny's has a traditional 1950s New York feel to it with its original family photographs, traditional wooden furniture and old music. They serve a wide range of authentic American and Italian dishes at their restaurant including pizzas, pasta, burgers, ribs and fries. They also cater for vegetarians and serve cocktails, beers, wines and spirits at their bar. I like the warm welcome feeling at this restaurant, plus its a great start to a night out in Nottingham. Its good for a Birthday or other special occasions or just as a nice treat for yourself or a friend. I used to come here every week with my Dad before he moved to Egypt.
Wow... where can i start? Theres so much to choose from at this restaurant. One of my favourite dishes is the Pizza & house salad, i love the salad dressing oh & the fries here are lush too!

TGI Fridays is a large American chain of restaurants with predictably huge portions of American food, energetic waiting staff and a 'bar and grill' interior - great fun for kids. This branch is popular with students. Tgi's is a fantastic restaurant in the heart of Nottingham. It is great for to go for the start of a good night out, why not enjoy a gorgeous meal here then finish of the night either going out to a few bars, going to the cinema or even clubbing if your up for it. The atmosphere at Tgi's is great too, they have cheerful waiters and waitresses aswell as lots of happy customers all around. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. There is a great choice of food on the menu... from steaks, to pizza to chicken wings and potato skins then finish off with cookies and ice cream!
My favourite is the Jack Daniels Chicken wings.... grilled chicken smoothered in Jack Daniels and comes with a barbecue and garlic mayonaise dip. Yummy! As you walk in you there is a warm buzzy feel to the place. It was busy and despite the fact that we hadn't booked a table we were soon seated. There is plenty of choice on the menu, our order was soon taken. Our starters and drinks arrived fairly quickly. after we finished our starters. We sat there and waited and waited. We stacked the plates up in the middle of the table (there were 5 of us) and waited. I actually took pictures of this and we still waited. We tried to get someones attention to order drinks and to find out about our food. We were told that it had been less than an hour that we had been waiting. We were told that a table of 17 had walked in and we would have to wait. They came in after we had ordered. We were also told that as we had ordered starters we have to wait longer for our main meals to arrive. The manager came over and knocked our drinks of the bill and said our food was just coming. Only the food was for another table. Our food arrived and I discovered that my Lamb Dansak had no chilli in it at all. I was offered a plate of chilli to put in it or to have a new dish made. So the dish of chilli was brought over and the same time my dish was taken away. So I was left with rice and a plate of chilli. Everybody else had their food, but most were lacking knife and forks that had not been replaced from our starters. I did get my dish back. When we got the bill we asked for a discount as we felt that the service and quality of dishes was not worth the full price. We were told that we had not been charged a service charge (which I had not seen stated on the menu). We said that we would not be tipping anyway. We were given a 20% discount. It was a shame, as far as I know this place has been open a couple of years and is michelin recommended. I am not sure that I would come back. My dish was brought back and
Seekh Kebab starter was very good. Lamb Dansak was missing the chilli! No heat to it at all. Price's for main dishes vary from £6-£15 Theme: IndianPrice: US$31-40 » Currency ConverterComparison: more expensive than averageAddress: Maid Marion Way, Nottingham, NG1 6HEWebsite: www.milesfrom Delhi.com

I had breakfast there on a Sunday morning. It was quiet - I was the first customer of the day. The service was friendly and the food was good - fair portions at a reasonable price. I would certainly return - and I'm fussy! There was a problem with the coffee machine so I had juice instead - when they fixed the machine, they gave me a coffee free to make up for it. They even brought me over a newspaper to read as I alone.
Well cooked breakfast - choose 6 items from the menu for ż3.95. Leave a Comment Theme: AmericanPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than averageAddress: 29 Upper Parliament StreetPhone: 0115 979 9736Directions: A few paces from Victoria shopping centre.

I'm sorry, folks, but wearing ethnic costumes and having a reasonable decor does not a good restaurant make. I am a great curry afficionado, and the English Midlands is certainly a good place to enjoy the delights of Asian cooking. On the evening I visited, the service was poor, notwithstanding that the place was nearly empty. The food (when it eventually arrived) was really pretty average. I certainly would not recommend this restaurant. Perhaps, like anywhere else, they were just having an off night, but on this showing I am sure there must be better Indian restaurants in Nottingham.
