Bring lots of money for shopping. The Victoria centre is one of two huge shopping centres in Nottingham. I was quite surprised by the amount of shops in the city. |

Most of Derbyshire is in an area called The Peak District. This District is great for backpackers, walkers and hikers. Good waterproof clothing recommended along with strong sturdy footwear if you're thinking of hiking/walking. There are plenty of hostels available in this area plus all your usual bed & breakfast places; guest houses; farm houses; hotels etc. Nothing special to bring with you as you can get it all here. Again, all photo equipment is available here. All small towns and villages cater for films and of course processing. APS version is also available as well as 35mm etc. Although we use the PAL version for video tapes etc. There are many campsites for tents, caravans and campers. Electricity is 240 volts and we use a 3 pinned plug so you maybe wise to bring your adapter with you. |

Camping PLENTY OF CANS OF BEER, LOTS OF FOOD AND A STOVE TO COOK IT ON, TENT ETC, AND WATERPROOFS. IF YOU ARE CAMPING.....YOU WILL NEED EAR PLUGS IF YOU WANT ANY SLEEP...THE MUSIC IS LOUD AND BIKES REV THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT. |
