Nottingham has some great resturants. My favourite has to be Tequila's Mexican Restaurant. Tequila's has a great atmosphere and is excellent value for money. Starter and main course is two for one and you get loads!! The Fajitas are great! |

This public house was built by Peter Nightingale (father of Florence) it was later turned into a hospice where Florence helped nurse workers from the Nightingale estate. Beware of low ceilings or else you could end up with a headache having nothing to do with the number of pints you have drunk. |

The New Bengal Balti & Tandoori Restaurant Extremely cosy restaurant with very low ceilings and uneven floors (even before the wine it's difficult to walk steady in here.) The food is out of this world and I would recommend this place as THE best Indian restaurant EVER! Chicken Rogan Josh with Pilau rice and a Garlic Naan bread, closely followed by a bottle of German wine (and a taxi home.) |

Nottingham has over 200 restaurants on offer. One of the most popular restaurants is Harts which was recently voted The Guardian's 'Best Newcomer of the Year' restaurant. Other popular restaurants to try are the 'Sheriff's Lodge' banqueting hall (with no cutlery and evening entertainment), La Tasca, Merchants or Shimla Pink. |

1. Man Ho - a Chinese restaurant 3 minutes walk straight uphills along the City Hall. The dip sum is even better than you can find in many places in Hong Kong. No kidding ! 2. Pitcher & Piano - also in the downtown area... easy to find. A pub & restaurant refurbished from a medieval church. The best pub I ever seen. You need to take a long queue if you go there on Friday and Saturday night. |
