I have a particular gripe about the charges made here in the UK for admission and parking to places of interest. It really annoys me when you have to pay to park your car, then pay more admission fees. After a few days out, you begin to realise that these fees alone have cost you about £50 and that really is alot of money. Never mind the petrol, snacks and beer money - no wonder tourists find the UK expensive (even we do!) Did you know it is now £22 each adult to get into Alton Towers? Expensive for a family or what? Do any of you other Brits out there think places of interest are expensive or am I the only one?? |
