What danger could this peaceful looking canal provide? Well, the glass building in the background is where I was stuck for over 3 hours doing all sorts of horrible assessments, tests and interviews, in pursuit of a job. |

As with most of the other large cities in Britain, watch out for pickpockets. If you visit the city at night - don't go alone! |

Passing through both Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire is the M1, a motorway for those of you who do not know. It starts just North of London and ends up somewhere in Yorkshire. This motorway is probably in the top 5 of the most busiest in the country and in Rush Hour you could be held up for ages (I wonder why in this day and age it's still called the Rush Hour because no-one rushes anywhere we're always stationary). So my advice for anyone who thought it would be quicker to use the motorway is...don't bother from 8:00 to 9:15 and 16:45 to 18:30 it's quicker to walk. Hee hee. |

The only thing I think is worth mentioning here is to watch your wallet and credit cards in crowds. Like most places in the world we do have pickpockets! To contact the Police, Fire or Ambulance services dial 999 from anywhere in the UK. |

Beware of the dirty old men which can be found in broadmarsh bus station after 10pm! But hey aren't they in every bus station in every town at the time?!! |

I was there a few years ago when a guy in a car ran into some motorcycles that were parked by their owners tents......he made the mistake of not stopping.......HE WAS CAUGHT .....and his car got burnt ! OOPS....... TOLD YER IT WAS WILD..... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED... |
