it is a local pub with variety of drinks. Located on historical Whitefriars Street, Phoenix is one of the typical English pubs in city. It has been highly recommended to have a visit. As it is across the road of Coventry University most of the people are from University. Opening hours are from 11 am to 11 pm Monday-Saturday. 10:30 Sunday. Prices of drinks are reasonable. This side of Coventry City Centre is about 10 mins walk from the SkyDome complex but also very lively. More suited if you prefer a Pub night out rather than a Club night out. You have Pizza Express so that you can line your stomach first, then within the same 5 minute radius, you have excellent and lively pubs such as: Varsity, Lloyds, Yates', Golden Cross, Newt & Cucumber and Browns.
Most are fine with smart but casual and are OK with blokes wearing jeans. I would recommend that you fellas should stick with shoes as opposed to trainers, you never know what mood the bouncers are in or how generous they are feeling... Do you ever? Anywhere? Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and DrinkingDirections: High Street, right by the Council House. Close to Coventry University so a lot of Student types around during the week.

Great security for you girlies out there. Apparently, the SkyDome complex alone has more CCTV cameras than the whole of Coventry City Centre. Plus, with 3 clubs, 2 bars and a pub all in the same location, it makes it easier to crawl from one establishment to another. Diva and Ikon are linked. Ikon is a more dance environment, Diva is more chart music and note, 25 and over. I love that I have been asked for ID a few times there! If you get into Bond's Bar before 10.30, then you get free entrance into Diva. (obviously, Bonds is also over 25s only). If you pay to get into Diva, you automatically have access to Ikon, but not the reverse. Does that make sense?? My brain aches now...
Orange House - Pub. No definate dress code as far am I'm aware, but nost people move onto one of the other bars or clubs aftwards and so most people go smart but casual or all out smart (or tarty) I would say smart but casual for the whole complex, but bear in mind that Diva and Bonds is smart dress only, the guy I was with was refused entry because he was wearing jeans (even though they were very smart jeans). I'm not sure if girls can get in wearing jeans, not risked it myself. Jumpin' Jaks is a lot more relaxed on attire. Unfortunately, that also seems to apply to clientele too. Lots of letching males (not locals), not that unusual to get groped in there. Well you can go wherever takes your fancy as there is so much to offer. However we usually go to the Showcase Cinema. In the sama space there is Pizza Hut, Bowling, etc. It's great because that place offers you almost everything and it's all nicely put together, you can even go shopping there! It has everything and you won't get bored. There is even lazer shooting!
Casusal and a little dressy but remember if you go bowling don't where a new top because you usual get oil on it which is quite hard to get off! Leave a Comment Theme: TheaterDirections: To reach the cinema it is Junction 2, M6 Motorway, Cross Point, Hinckley RoadOther Contact:

Lots of them depending on what you feel like doing at the time. Good nightclubs include Icon and Diva at the SkyDome. Other good nights out include Scholars (Far Gosford Street) and Scream (Gosford Street). For theatre we have the Belgrade Theatre and the Butts College. And we have cinema screens at the SkyDome and the Showcase. There's often live music at the Colosseum as well many of the city's pubs, The Arts Centre offers live music, theatre, cinema and exhibitions. Whatever you like there's usually something happening that will appeal to everyone's tastes. In the summer months and at Christmas / New Year there are also a number of outdoor events organised in the city.
