    Fish 'n' Things is a family owned Fish & Chip Shop mixing the traditional chippy menu with a wide selection of more contemporary 'fast foods'. Choices range from fresh locally caught haddocks, pies & puddings through to burgers, pizzas & baked potatoes.

    Why not try Des's special 'yellow fish in batter' or his 'herring oaties'. They make a really tasty fish alternative.

    Got to be fish with chips!

    The visitor centre was open & advertised hot drinks on the board outside. Being a freezing day with a wicked wind chill we ventured inside to find it deserted but you can still have a coffee, tea or hot chocolate just remember to make it yourself & leave 70p in the box provided. I just love old fashioned honesty.

  • Not a restaurant, just a wee shop that still makes it's own ice cream. Now I've tasted many and most are mmm nice, but this local secret is mmmmmmmmmmm very nice and also very original, I've never tasted anything similar...anywhere....ever.

    A fantastic cafe with a great view. Bags the table in the corner with the galss sides giving amazing views of the sea, rocks, and the nearby village.
    Don't expect cordean bleu, simple fare and a roast on Sunday are what you can expect. The staff are very good as is the service.

    You can visit the cafe without paying for the museum and it is our favourite haunt when we are in town for afternoon tea

    The tea is great, the cakes are fresh and its very inexpensive

    Cant praise this place highly enough!
