We've got a soupy doupy bus station here built in 2003. I can remember the old one, dark dingy and dirty. This one is quite comfortable, with good facilities, an ATM and a phone. I only found one phone but it had a language selection on it which would be useful if you can't speak English very well. It takes coins and credit cards which is handy.
It has clear airport style arrival and departure screens which stop you panicking about which bus to get on or if you have missed it. Leave a Comment

From Liverpool Street Station you can be in Edinburgh in 4 hours on the train.
Be sure to get on the express as it can take an hour longer otherwise.
On weekend you can upgtrade ti first calss for only 15 pounds and I can say it is well worth doing.
Taking the train was a scenic pleasure. Though it is slower than a flight it is very relaxing and more economical. Leave a Comment Theme: Train
