 | Glasgow WEATHER Reviews | 1 - 10 of 15 | | Good idea to take lots of wet weather clothes if coming at any time of the year other than June, July and August! Then again, when you least expect it, the sun does come out to meet you! Saying that, it is now June and I just can't see any sun..something wrong here I think!! Leave a Comment

Since it is possible to get rain in Glasgow at any time of the year, just bring a waterproof jacket, so you can enjoy the city without worrying about getting wet.

I have said it before an essential item is your raincoat!!!
Unless travelling in summer most people will find it cold (unless your country is further NORTH than us!!!!) Leave a Comment

Ok, listen carefully - TAKE AN UMBRELLA!!!!!!! Seriously, I think Glasgow might be the wettest place on Earth....well, that may be a slight exageration, but still.... No matter how sunny it looks in the morning, it could still be pouring down within a few hours - or even minutes, so an umbrella will come in very handy. Leave a Comment

Its been said that if you dont like the weather in Glasgow wait 10 minutes and it will change. I have heard people say that they went to Glasgow and it rained so ... TAKE A BLOODY RAINCOAT AND STOP BLOODY MOANING. Apart from that take what ever you feel comfy in Leave a Comment

You are only an hour away from some of the finest walking areas, for example Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond so be sure to bring suitable boots/shoes, a warm jacket and a waterproof, even in summer. Don't even attempt it in winter. You are also only 30 minutes away from beaches but we don't get particularly warm summers although we can get some very hot days.
If venturing into the countryside in summer/autumn you must take a midge repellant, Deet or similar Leave a Comment

I would truly love to put in here take your bikini, sun glasses and plenty of tanning lotion but if I did you would know that I am lying. :) Leave a Comment

If you are visiting at the beginning of May this is around the only time when you should pack sun tan lotion - this is when everyone is sitting exams and you can guarantee the weather will be glorious :-) Alternatively please bring warm clothes and anything to guard against the rain!
