Garibaldi Lake trail might be pretty busy in the summer months. Just be aware of that...it's not really a tourist trap, but there might be quite some people on the trail.

The best thing to do is to leave early in the morning for this trip. Or leave later in the afternoon with an overnight stay by the lake and do some more hiking the following day or just return to the parking lot. This way you will probably avoid most people.
