If by chance you do not want to visit any of the wineries you can purchase many of the wines in the Penticton Visitor Centre and Wine shop.

It is located just off the Highway 97 Chanel Parkway at the N.w. corner of Railway St and Eckhart Ave.

Red Rooster Winery.

Also on the Naramata is a brand new location for Red Rooster, just 4 years ago it was close to Naramata and in very small cramped quarters.

Lots of room for wine tasting and a visit to an art gallery upsatairs. Plenty of parking and a shop for those purchases.

View from Tinhorn Creek.

The highway south from Penticton #97 climbs to the west side of the valley as it heads south of Skaha lake, for a while there are no wineries until you get to Okanagan Falls.

After this town there are many wineries on each side of the valley, after Oliver they are mostly on the west side of the main.road.

The view is from the parking area at Tinhorn Creek winery. It shows the south end of the Okanagan valley looking towards Osoyoos and the Canadian/U.S border.

There are 6 wineries along this stretch of road. After Tinhorn there are Gehringer Bros, Hester Creek, Inniskillin, Domaine Combret and Gersihel.

Vaseau Lake.

The lake and the cliff are in an unspoilt area of the valley. there are 4 wineries on the east side, but so far the lake is mostly a natural place to visit.

It is on the drainage system of the Okanagan valley as the water slowly moves south into the catchment area of the Columbia River Vallaey system..

Tinhorn Creek winery

The main building contains a wine tasting area, up to 4 wines to be tasted free, a small charge after that. A shop and the opportunity to view some of the storage and wine making system as well as a walk around the garden in front of the winery.
