The Portside Restaurant was in the Anchor Inn where we stayed for two nights. We ate at the restaurant one evening. It was quiet and relaxing and the service was very good. The seafood dishes we ordered were very good, and we just had to have salmon in Prince Rupert. We found on our trip that some of the best restaurants are the ones right in the hotel where you are staying. The Portside Pub & Grill was next door and looked like a nice place for those who like that type of atmosphere.
I can't remember for sure the name but it was a salmon / pasta dish that was very good.
There aren't too many places that you can really enjoy the atmosphere, hospitality and food like it has here. Close to the Information Office and Dock where local boats and Cruise Ships come in .
Clam Chowder and Mussels. The Clams are morning fresh and the taste is Just DELICIOUS.
