The Roxy is a fun nightclub in Vancouver. It appeals to an older crowd. Live bands play here, and the house band is pretty good. The crowd loves to dance. It's not really your sleazy bump n' grind type scene, from what I've experienced. People know how to dance well.
"Vancover's top bar/club is The Roxy (Granville Ave.). It's not fancy and even a tad rustic. But it's long been the city's top nightlife spot because, frankly, it's just a kickass rock and roll club. The Roxy often features top Canadian bands as well as hot local acts. People pack the place nearly every night and go there to get crazy. Casual dress is welcome." The Roxy is one of the most popular of Vancouvers clubs.
Get there early to avoid the line up.
Good nights are monday and tuesdays as these are the nights when the bar staff from other pubs and clubs get in there!
The house band are pretty good too!

There is an entrance fee of $8.00 per person. Please bring your ID. Come early to avoid long line up especially in the weekends.
If you like live music this is the place to be. You can listen to the music or you can also dance in the dance floors.

If you want to go to the most populer nightclub in town, go to The Roxy. It's really busy every night, and packed to the rafters on fridays on saturdays. If you want to get in without waiting in a huge, long lineup (possibly for hours), get there before 9:00 on fridays and saturdays. Cover will run you about $10, and drinks will all be $5 or more. Everyone seems to go there, whether they're 19 years old up to 40. There is live music every night.

I have been to Vancouver four times in the past four years and always seem to have the most fun at the Roxy

The Roxy is a pretty wild and crazy place! Lots of people go there, and sometimes the Vancouver Canuck players drop in ;)

The Roxy is one of Granville St's most well known club venues. It's a place where you can have yourself a drink, socialize, dance, and watch live music acts. This place can be especially crowded on weekend nights.
None that I know of. Just dress nice, have fun, don't get too rowdy. Leave a Comment
