  • In the winters, bring boots, coats, gloves...whatever you will need to brave the blizzards! Also, if you're going skiing or boarding, whatever you need for that. In the summers, bring shorts and good hiking shoes. There are lots of great hiking trails! Mountain biking is popular too, although I've never done it. Bring your golf clubs if you golf. There are two courses up here. One is a smaller 9-hole and the other, a full 18 hole course.

If you forget to bring something, don't worry about it. Mammoth is a fairly normal city and has everything you need!

    Plastic Containers
Plastic Containers to bring home leftovers. Many people stay at condos and leave or throw out a lot of food when they leave.

    Ski Trip
You never know what the weather will be like. Pack light and heavy jackets for skiing. I also pack several types of gloves - mittens and glove liners. One day, sunglasses were fine. The next windy day, ski goggles were a necessity. I also needed my alligator (neck warmer) that I can pull up to cover my mouth and nose but a face mask would have probably worked out better. Ski hats a must!
