    I don't know how long this Farmer's Market has existed, but it is fabulous. Though it isn't very big, you can find anything from plants to butterflies there.

    The market is every Saturday morning until around 2pm. There are more stands on sunny days and better prices than downtown.

    Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour

  • Winter Park offers a nice one hour narrated cruise through the canals and lakes . It is located on Lake Osceola, in the city. The slow moving canal boat glides through beautiful displays of sub-tropical flowers and swaying palms. There are also views of exquisite estates on the shore of the lake. Keep your eyes open and you will see waterfowl enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.
    Admission is: $8 for adults and $4 for children.

    located in an old warehouse the farmers market is open every saturday morning. at the farmers market you can buy fresh produce, plants and crafts. the farmers market is also home to the winter park historical museum. this is an interesting museum to visit to learn about the history of this charming town.

  • the winter park scenic boat tour is one of the oldest and most popular tourist attractions in winter park. the one hour tour takes you all over winter park via it's lakes and canals. you will see the beautiful lakefront homes of winter park. the captain will talk about the history of winter park and point out homes of famous people who live in winter park. a fun and interesting thing to do when in winter park.

  • kraft azalea gardens is located on lake maitland in central winter park. this park offers a spectacular display of flowers in late february and march when the azaleas are in bloom. kraft azalea gardens is a pleasant place to visit any time of the year.

  • located on the campus of rollins college the cornel museum of fine art is a worthwile place to visit in winter park. the museum features traveling collections from museums from all over the united states. located on beautiful lake virginia the campus of rollins college is a nice place to walk around to see it's mediterranean achitecture. pictured is knowles chapel, a rollins college landmark.

  • the morse museum of american art is the best and most famous art museum in the orlando area. founded by jeannette genius mc kean in 1942 it is named after her grandfather charles morse. jeannette and her husband hugh mc kean collected the works of louis comfort tiffany for over fifty years. the morse museum has the most comprehensive collection of tiffany works in the world. along with the tiffany collection of jewelry, leaded glass windows, and lamps there is an excellent collection of rookwood pottery. the star attraction of the museum is the chapel that tiffany designed for the 1893 columbian exposition in chicago. the oyster bay window in the metropolitan museum in new york was donated by the mc keans. a must see site when in winter park.
