    Ok, I perfectly know that traffic every where in the inner cities stink, but I am from California and yes I do KNOW traffic in LA is aweful, but I am telling you that San Antonio traffic in SA is far worse because not because of all the congestion of cars, but how the roads are designed. The lanes are far way to narrow, bumpy (bad for trucks, so imagining the trailer part end swaying, yeah not good!) and how the roads curve and jut back a forth along the way. To me this is way too dangerous of a design and like I said, some road engineer needs some education or knocked silly.

    So Please just take it slow and easy and just make sure you have your route mapped out before you venture out!

    As we all know we can't avoid rush hour but here its like L.A.It starts around 4-6pm everyday so my advice look for another route.

    Typical of many large Texas cities, people in San Antonio also cannot drive. However, the bad drivers in San Antonio are different; they normally drive very slow and take forever to change lanes. In other words, they're very passive (very different from the extremely aggressive drivers in Houston and Dallas).

  • When the Spurs are playing here. Expect a lot of traffic. Also it's really hard to find parking downtown. You usually will have to pay a couple of dollars to park somewhere. Of course sometimes you can park at RiverCenter Mall and have about an hour or two of free parking before you have to pay.
