Okay...Irish name...American/Irish themed stuff...HAH! It's like entering a huge antique shop. There was movie memorabelia everywhere. Vintage toys, gadgets, even a mini ferris wheel. This is a fabulous place to eat! The Chef is a master. There are Weekly Specials that are so good I rarely get to order from the menu. This is the only place in town to get home made pasta.
When I do order from the menu, as opposed to the Special Sheet, I get the NY Steak and Blue. At lunch, try the Pastrami!! Leave a Comment Theme: Eclectic/InternationalPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than averageAddress: Washington at MainDirections: Downtown

The wonderful smell of spices is the first of our senses to be seduced when we enter the restaurant. Service is good and not pushy. The staff is very knowledgable and very willing to answer your questions. The lunch buffet offers a nice selection of the staples found on the dinner menu so if you have never tried Indian food before, this would be a safe way to enter into it. It is definately not a high end eating establishment, but if you are looking for a delicious meal at a reasonable price, this is the place.
I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The Naan is perfect and the Butter Chicken is sublime. The Butter Chicken is creamy, spicy sensual experience for the mouth while the Naan adds another layer of texture. We were directed to this little bistro by some fellow golfers at Qualchan and were glad we listened. What a find! The quintessential quaint restaurant reminded us of places we have seen in San Fransisco or even Europe. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The kitchen is placed front and center to the room and the chefs say hi when you come in. I was so intrigued I chatted with the head chef and was offered tastes of the special to cinch my dinner choice. We ordered a Spokane wine that was delicious and sat outside on the front patio. They have gardens in front and back with herbs and vegetables they grow for the restaurant. We picked some small tomatoes and they appeared on our salad - talk about fresh! The steak, asparagus, morel mushroom pasta I ordered was fantastic; lightly flavored with garlic, olive oil and asiago cheese with tender strips of tenderloin. It reminded me of a meal we had in Tuscany. Not kidding! This is the real deal. The prices were surprisingly cheap and I can't say enough about the cool attitude of the staff. A must if you are in Spokane.
Even though my steak pasta main dish was to die for, I have to say the tiramisu mousse dessert was delicious. Also, my wife said her halibut dish was the best she has ever had. The atmosphere is fantastic here! They have a water fountain when you first come in the door and you get to watch the amazing chefs cook your food. Everything is frozen and they have such a large variety of sauces to add to your concoction.
Everything is fantastic and it always tastes different even if you add the same ingredients. Leave a Comment Theme: Middle EasternPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: Division StreetDirections: Past the mall on the left hand side of Division

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Spokane. The service and food are always great. I take out-of-town visitors here often, and they are always impressed that a place like this can be found in Spokane! It has much more in common with similar restaurants in Seattle than anything else in Spokane. The ambience is relaxed and hip. The decor is modern, colorful and very pleasing. The food has been described as Japanese/Hawaiian fusion. The restaurant is known for sushi, but non-sushi items are available for the squeamish. Highly recommended!
I forget the names of the dishes I've tried, but I really enjoyed a Hawaiian dish featuring chicken baked with apple. Their signature sushi roll (which I believe is called the Northwest Roll) features salmon and huckleberry. Patsy Clark was a silver miner and the restaurant is set up in his home, which was built in 1898. While the antiquity of the home is prserved, an absolutely beautiful job of converting it to a restaurant has been done.

Rosauer's is a regional, but Spokane-based supermarket and absolutely the best in town. Here you'll not only find competitve deals on groceries, but some things that you won't find at other supermarkets, most notably Great Northern Lights Beer (Spokane's best brewery). If you're looking for a cheap meal, head to Rosauer's flagship on 29th Avenue in the South Hills between Grand Blvd and Freya. They have the typical supermarket fare like fried chicken, potato wedges and buffalo wings, but they also cafeteria type food, as well as seven different kinds of coffee (self-serve, so unlimited refills) and other various items, all at the deli. Plus, they have a beautiful restaurant area for you sit down to eat and, the best part for me, free wi-fi! The store is also huge and deserves some exploration, but this little cafe area just blew me away.
There's a chicken dinner for $3 where you get two pieces of fried chicken, a side dish (mash, mac n' cheese, swedish meatballs, etc.), a roll and a "salad" (no leafs - potato, macaroni, etc.). It's a good deal. Leave a Comment Theme: AmericanPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: least expensiveAddress: 2610 E 29th AveDirections: Several Spokane locations.
