I always say to my friends there...one hour of canadian winter in São Luis will extinguish the entire population of this State!;)

I was born in Rio, and Rio is considered to eb a hot place in the Summer..but since I got to travel through Maranhao State from September to November I realized that Rio is a freezeing place comparing to the severe heat of this northern State of our Nation...It is cooler close to the coast, the everlasting breeze is a blessing...or in the Square where the Government Palace is located...there is a lovely and reliefing wind corridor there...but when the wind stops...it is even harder to take pictures! This is me close to the Gothic Church where the São Luis Bridge can be best seen... ONCE YOU GET TO MARANHAO, EVEN IN SÃO LUIS...GET READY TO BAKE UNDER THE SUN!;) São Luis is hot, but I like it!;) I always say to my friends there...one hour of canadian winter in São Luis will extinguish the entire population of this State!;) |
