...Due to the lot of immigrants Brazil had you will find all sort of women in Brazil: black (morena), brunette and blond-haired (loira) ones..what you prefer is your choice there!
If you come here you will see the most of beautiful women at the beaches all around or inside the bars, discotheques and shoppings. As brazilian women in general treat their body's well (by doing lot's of sports or musculation, and of course "maquiagem") you can see lot's of women in shorts or biquinis at the beach..or in short little nothings called "fio dental" in Brazil.
This is the very famous sort of biquini you will see nothing but all ! ;-) LOL Leave a Comment

Well, I guess that this advice is what everybody knows and thinks about when Brazil comes to his mind and of course what every man was waiting for to see here at VT:
the brazilian women!
Yes, the brazilian women (and especially the carioca -Rio's natives- one) are just as beautiful as you guess, maybe more...that is what Brazil has to offer..and I am not talking about sex-tourism here.
It is really true that brazilian women are -from my opinion as a german women - the most beautiful of the world! Who has been to Brazil yet will agree with me I think! Leave a Comment

Seems like good part of life in Rio de Janeiro goes around the beach. It is more than an ideal place to swim or take the solar ray in summer. Some people find it a great scenario for a meeting in the huts along the beach, drinking agua de coco or guarana.
For some others, especially males, it is the best spot to understand why Brazilian girls are said to be the most beautiful of the world.
Others think Rio beaches are the best place to do some healthy exercise. Most of them do jogging, play soccer or volley in the sand, but others prefer just breathing the marine breeze, while contemplating the stunning view.
For another group, especially at night, the beaches offer the proper ambiance for a reflexive, even romantic, walking along, or just an inspiration for a thought, a song, or another piece of art.
And, for some others, beach gives them the opportunity to become artists by making sand castles, pyramides and even the Last Supper (with Jesus and all the twelve disciples!!) for us to admire, like that of my picture ...

Everybody wears the little bikinis in Rio. You can buy them on the beach, or, more cheaply in a smaller town if you take side trips.
I wish I had done this, even tho I wasn't sure the first day, because I got enough of a tan that I would have had two big white areas on my backside if I had put on a little bikini the next day!!!!
After an afternoon of being on the beach, I realized that you're not expected to have a perfect body - not at all.
Plus, the vendors will figure out you're American and single you out to try to get you to buy their snacks, sodas, blankets, bikinis, earrings, tote bags, etc.
Besides, everyone wears a 'canga' = kung- gah, which is like a sarong, so, you can wrap it around like a skirt unless you're laying on it on the beach. Oh, and no one brings towels - just lay on your canga (bring a chamois so that you can dry off & not get your canga or car seats wet)

Don't wear those granny pants at the beach. Wear a brazilian or thong bikini bottom. Keep your top on, they don't go topless here.
Don't worry if you do not have the bod to strut a skimpy bottom. Grandmas wear these tiny things too.

In every district of Rio, in the main corners and also in big green squares like this one you will find a complete quiosk where you can by all kind of plants and flowers. It is very charming to come across with these kind of "natural" stores...It is good to observe every flower species, sometime you can see rare ones.
Rio is such a pleasant city despite of the social problems that we have...we have very safe and calm places in the city. it is up to you to come and see it!;) Leave a Comment

Santos Dumont is our domestic Airport, and it works only for flights to and from São Paulo, and I said good bye to my good friend from Jordan Ghaith, in less than two days he could see the best of Rio!

Everyone is trying to stay fit in Rio, and look as beautiful as humanly possible. Don't try to find topless women on the beaches; you'll find a lot of topless men, but no women. I think this is great (no I'm not gay) as it adds to the mystery :-)
But enough about that!
Sports being played are:
- beach soccer
- beach volley
- foot volley
- racketball
- jogging
- ...
People playing sports are:
- young people from 8-25
- 'normal' people from 26-65
- elder people from 66-80
Seriously, everyone's joining! I enjoyed seeing whole families playing football amongst each other, fathers and sons trying to beat others and having fun, ... Leave a Comment

Coming from America, we are really sexually repressed. Sensuality is evinced in brazilian culture from language to clothing. Bikinis are worn by females 2 years old to 200 years old. I reccomend buying a bikini here because they are more flattering for the female body...the butts have less fabric, but it gives you better tan lines and it makes your butt or Bunda, look bigger...and that is the most important thing here in Brazil. Women will even give themselves a wedgie to make their butt look bigger and for better tan lines...I have not yet gone that far...also the the bikini tops are more flattering especially if you have smaller boobs. All women have bikini top strap lines on their chests....it is necessary and considered sexy to have these two white lines creeping down your chest.....also, you are not allowed to go topless on the beach. Remember your sunscreen...buy it at home because it is expensive here, and the air is so humid that your burn easier. Also you can rent an umbrella from one of the many beach vendors for 2-4 Real to get a rest from that boiling hot sun.
